Our Mission in Action
Our Story
The Salesians of Don Bosco – ZMB Vice Province of Mary Help of Christians serve the youth and communities of Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. Rooted in the charism of St. John Bosco, our mission is to bring hope, education, and faith to young people, especially those most in need.
Guided by Don Bosco’s motto “Da mihi animas, cetera tolle” (“Give me souls, take away the rest”), we dedicate ourselves to the holistic development of the young—nurturing their talents, strengthening their values, and preparing them for a future of dignity and service by helping them to be Good Christians and Honest citizens
We are part of the worldwide Salesian family, a Catholic congregation inspired by St. Francis de Sales, committed to building communities of joy, kindness, and faith. In the ZMB Vice Province, our work is animated by devotion to Mary Help of Christians, who accompanies us in our mission of evangelization and education.
